NOTE BEFORE I DESCRIBE THE ITEM:
I have been collecting vintage toys for over 30 years. I was living in Europe for the past 10 years and pick up some great sets. I just moved back to the USA and have too many toys to fit in my new place -- so please check my listing over the next few weeks/months for an opportunity to buy some of my collection. ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Item: OLD VINTAGE TIN SOVIET BLOCK ROCKET. made in HUNGARY! Wonderful old tin toy from Hungary during the soviet bloc era. I Think it commemorates the soviet's launching the first man in the world into outer space!

Rocket has neat litho with English and Russian writing. CCCP (USSR) on Rocket. also written Interkosmos.
Friction action moves rocket forward till it hits a wall. That makes the rocket stand up and entrance ladder come down. neat picture of russian astronaut inside. It has a little problems standing up straight. I dont know, but I think is missing two other tails. It had one tail? marked CCCP (USSR) -- maybe it needs two more tails for stability? in either case, its are really nice piece to display!
Clearly marked Made in Hungary. Polimetal Rt. Gyor.
General wear consistent for its age.

I prefer PayPal but also accept Money Orders, Personal Checks (shipment waits until check clears), cashiers check.
All PayPal payments will only be accepted for confirmed addresses.

Buyers are allotted 5 days after I send the invoice to remit payment. If the buyer has not paid within this time, I reserve the right to re-list.

Shipping Information:

I Prefer to ship USPS priority mail domestically (Airmail parcel post internationally) but can also check parcel post.
I only charge the exact shipping amount and $2.00 for Packaging Materials for domestic shipments ($3.00 for international shipments). NO ADDITIONAL HANDLING CHARGES or FEES.
The Postage calculator below should already include the packaging materials fee BUT PLEASE NOTE -- This Calculator is only an estimate. When the auction is over, I will do a final packing and send you the exact shipping fees.
Insurance is optional. If you do not choose any insurance for your item, I will not cover lost, damaged, or broken packages. I cannot file claims on packages that are shipped USPS International.
If a USPS Domestic or International package should be lost or damaged, I will not be liable.
I will not mark international shipments as gifts and will declare the proper value.
All international sales are final.
