Hard Latin Funk! Ricardo Marrero’s ‘Babalonia’ is a bangin’ Latin funk instro that has devastated dancefloors for years. It originally came out in two versions – first on the tiny ‘Yu Qui Yu’ record label as intended for inclusion on a Xtian film, and one on another indie label, that run by Don King! The two versions are totally different – the earlier version is slower, sparser and very, very heavy; while the later one ups the tempo and throws extra instrumentation into the jam. Check the soundclip below...
