Up for bid I have this absolutely beautiful genuine 50's era full circle skirt black taffeta dress with black velvet accents made by Sue Mason Jr. For Saba of California. The fabric is in excellent condition, apart from  a couple of small tears under the arms (EASILY FIXABLE)

Aside from that I could not find any flaws, and I imagine when the dress is on you can't even see these small imperfections. Dress zips from the side on the left side underarm, below the zipper there is a velvet bow that can be untied. This dress would be so pretty with a crinoline/petticoat under it (not included).

Measurements:

From armpit to armpit laying flat: 18 inches

Waist laying flat: 13 inches

Hips: Full

Skirt from waist to hem: 25 inches

Tag says size 14 (that's a vintage size 14, more like a modern size 8-10)

It does appear that the skirt has been hemmed at some point, but you cannot tell from looking at the outside of the skirt, only from the inside. There are several inches of fabric that you can let out if the hem does not suit you.  If you would like more pictures or more information please email me, I will do my best to get you the information you need.
